FAQs

How does direct primary care differ from traditional insurance-based models?

Wyderski Health combines old-fashioned care with modern medicine. Our membership model allows the physician to address every patient individually and thoroughly.

With the DPC model, the practice is limited in size, so the physician can devote more time to each patient.

How does this work if I have commercial insurance or Medicare?

We are a membership DPC practice, and we do not bill any insurance companies, including Medicare or Tri-Care.

Can I call the doctor anytime?

Yes, your physician is available to you during office hours and for urgent matters after office hours.

What if I need to see a specialist?

Dr. Wyderski will facilitate referrals to other specialists as needed based upon his years of medical experience.

What if I need immediate care?

For non-life-threatening emergencies, Dr. Wyderski will be available 24/7 by phone or text message – often eliminating the need to go to the Emergency Room. However, if you experience an emergency medical situation that is life-threatening or of a serious nature, you should NOT call Dr. Wyderski, but instead call 9-1-1 immediately.

What if the doctor is on vacation?

All patients will be notified via email in advance of planned vacations, and will have other DPC physicians to cover for your needs while he is away.

What if I want to cancel my membership?

You can cancel your membership at any time with 30 days advanced notice. Wyderski Health will pro-rate your refund, excluding the $750 initial retainer fee. This also applies to any patient who passes away.
